San Jose Holistic Health Care Clinic is excited to present “KIDS FREE DAY: Improving Kid’s Health Through Chiropractic Care." We are very happy yo say this is our 4th KIDS FREE DAY since 2009. Bring your children from newborns to 18 years old to our clinic for a free physical check-up (including spinal screening) and a free treatment. This is a great opportunity to have your child/children checked to see if their bodies are growing strong and healthy, at no cost to you.  This time, unlike before, we welcome expecting mothers because after all the development of your baby begins during pregnancy. For this same reason, mothers need to be pain-free caused by pressure on their spine from pregnancy and prepared for labor.

Today, kids are given multiple hazardous and toxic medications to treat their illness/conditions. For example, they are given medications for their ADHD, asthma, allergies, scoliosis, etc. As you may be hearing or reading about on the news or simply from commercials, these medications can cause really bad side effects. What is worst is that these side effects are not temporary and the accumulation of taking multiple dosages will hurt your child’s health in the future. This is why we want to create awareness of how much kids can benefit from chiropractic care for their illness/conditions. What is even better is that with chiropractic care it’s a much holistic and healthier approach to achieving good health. Many people are not aware that Chiropractors can treat children for allergies, asthmas, attention deficit disorder, scoliosis, ear infections, headaches and a lot more.

Causes of Back and Leg Pain During Pregnancy During pregnancy, the increasing weight of the baby puts stress on the spine’s 3 natural curves. As a result, changes in posture can cause pain on your back and/or legs. As your baby grows, more weight is added in front of you and  your abdominal muscles become more stretched. The baby pulls down on the thoracic curve (mid back) & forward on the lumbar curve (low back). The bigger the baby gets, the more exaggerated these curve become which puts pressure on your spine joints. In addition, the sciatic never, that runs from low back to leg, can become irritated. Chiropractic care is a natural way to treat these pains during and after pregnancy.
